*ALL SET FOR THE “PROTECT MY VOTE” DEMONSTRATION IN ASHANTI REGION TOMORROW

The Ashanti Region branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to announce that everything is set for the highly anticipated “Protect My Vote” demonstration, as announced by the Flag-bearer of the NDC and our National Chairman.

This demonstration, aimed at demanding a credible voters register for the upcoming elections, is a critical step in ensuring that the integrity of our electoral process is upheld. Last week, we reached a consensus with the Ghana Police Service regarding the route and modalities for the demonstration, which will proceed as follows:

• Starting Point: NDC Regional Party Office
• Target Destination: Electoral Commission Office at the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC)
• Starting Time:6:00 AM, 17th September,2024.

We call on all party members, supporters, and sympathizers, as well as concerned citizens, to join this significant protest. Our concern is simple and clear: We demand a credible voters register to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. This is not just about the NDC but about safeguarding the democratic rights of every Ghanaian.
