Asantehene Honours Asafo Agyei Hospital CEO

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has honoured Archbishop Prof. Dr. Anane Asafo Agyei Frimpong, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asafo Agyei Hospital at the Manhyia Palace.

Dr. Asafo Agyei received the honour in a Gold category on behalf of the hospital at the joint 20th Ashanti Business and Financial Services Excellence Awards and the 9th Ashanti Business Leaders Excellence Awards ceremony last week in Kumasi organised by Top Brass Ghana under the auspices of the Manhyia Palace.

 

Nana Tuahyia Oduro Panin Birikorang I, New Edubiasehene who represented Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the event, presented a citation of honour to Dr. Asafo Agyei on behalf of the hospital.

He explained that the award was in recognition of the outstanding contribution of the hospital to the economic development of the Ashanti Region to inspire people with good intentions to do business in the region and beyond.

He extended his heartfelt commendation to the award-winners whose entrepreneurial endeavours do not only lead to an increase in their own profits but also promote the social and economic development of Ashanti and Ghana at large. He wished them greater prosperity in the years ahead.

After receiving the citation, Dr. Asafo Agyei expressed gratitude to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Manhyia Palace for the honour bestowed on him.

He stated that the award would inspire and motivate him to do more in the area of healthcare, which is his number one priority as a health practitioner who has been in the medical profession for decades.
