EXPRESSION OF SYMPATHY

The Ashanti Regional Chapter of the National Democratic Congress wishes hospitalized protesting students of the Islamic Senior High School speedy recovery.

We observed that the Police were heavy-handed in controlling the protesting students who were neither armed nor riotous.

We understand that the matter is under investigations and urge all actors to pursue the issue to its end and not offer esthetic public assurances without proper closure.

We sympathize with victims and parents of the incident and add our voice to demand full and proper investigations into the incident.
