The Ashanti Regional Organiser for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Francis Adomako aka Francois, has commended the NPP Members of Parliament (MPs) for demonstrating maturity and pure democracy that thwarted the evil intentions of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MPs to create chaos and confusion in Parliament on Tuesday, 22nd October 2024.

“I wish to commend the NPP MPs for showing to all Ghanaians and the whole world that the NPP was not born out of violence,” he said.

Speaking to “The New Trust” newspaper, Francois said Ghanaians in general love peace, but the NDC wanted a chaotic situation in Parliament on Tuesday.

“They wanted to create a scene. The utterances of some of the NDC MPs betrayed their evil intentions. They don’t think of the nation; they wanted to create a bad image for Ghana. Thanks to the Almighty for whatever happened today,” he noted.

Therefore, the Ashanti Regional NPP Organiser, who doubles as the Dean of all Regional Organisers, urged the rank and file of the NPP to take this opportunity to double their steps in various constituencies to win more seats and also help Dr. Bawumia to become president-elect, come December 7.

He continued, “I’ll use this opportunity to plead to all former NPP executives from the polling station to the national level to bury their differences and work hard till Dr. Bawumia is declared President of Ghana, while the NPP wins an overwhelming majority in Parliament.”

Besides, Francois reminded Ghanaians, especially first-time voters, that Mr. John Mahama and the NDC don’t have the nation at heart, for which reason they should not mistake a to vote for them but rather go out in their numbers and vote for Dr. Bawumia, who is number one on the ballot.
