Bafuor Owusu Afriyie claims, the constituents have enjoyed a lot of support from the retired Commissioner of Police during his service in the police service which he quickly added that, a lot of youth in the constituency gain admission into the police and other security services recruitments all by the efforts of “Commander’ and they believe if given the mandate to serve the constituency they will witness more of such and developmental projects in general.

In his comparative analysis between Atwima – Nwabiagya District and the recently calved Kwadaso Municipality, Bafuor Owusu Afriyie again expressed worry that Kwadaso which was created recently has been given such a face lift in terms of roads and other projects but Atwima Nwabiagya South which has been in existence for years as has not witnessed similar developments.

He therefore attributed “lack of development in the area to  leadership.

Baffour Owusu Afriyie believes the previous and the current political leaders have failed the area and claims, with “Commander” as member of parliament when given the nod and with support from the traditional leaders they have the presumption that there would be a change.

Meanwhile, the retired COP says he is yet to consider the appeal by the chiefs but added he will not disappoint the call by the chiefs when the need arises. Source: Tntnewspapergh.com with additional file by
