A Kumasi-based businessman,Mr Yaw Owusu,has been installed as the Chief Linguist to Nana Kofi Frimpong Ababio, Otunfuo’s Brempong and the Chief of Asante-Dawu near Jamasi in the Afigya Sekyere South district of Ashanti region.

Swearing the oath of allegiance to the Chief of Asante- Dawu in a colourful ceremony,Nana Yaw Owusu I, pledged to be honest and pursue the unity of the people in the area .

Otunfuo’s Brempong Nana Kofi Frimpong Ababio advised the newly installed chief Linguist and others to be humble in all their endeavors.

He challenged Nana Yaw Owusu I to work hard and serve Asante-Dawu stool well in order to leave good track record for generations to come to emulate.

Asante Dawuhene congratulated Nana Yaw Owusu I for accepting to serve the stool.
