Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC), Ayigya, is set to become the epicenter of a major spiritual gathering this weekend as over 3,000 young people converge for Conference 1:16.

The two-day event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, promises an uplifting atmosphere of dynamic worship, impactful teaching, and fervent prayer.

Understanding Conference 1:16:
Rooted in the biblical scripture Romans 1:16 (“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ…”), Conference 1:16 is an annual flagship youth movement spearheaded by CCC.

The initiative serves a dual purpose:

Mobilizing young believers to conduct outreach and evangelism across the Kumasi metropolis.

Gathering youth for power-packed evening sessions featuring seasoned ministers, leadership development, and transformative worship.

Guest Speakers & Host:
Building on the success of past editions, this year’s conference features a diverse lineup of international and local spiritual leaders:

Pastor Jonathan Munoz:
Visiting all the way from Crossroads Church in Cebu, Philippines, Pastor Munoz brings a global perspective and a deep passion for youth empowerment.

Pastor Joshua Obeng (Host):
Known affectionately as “PJ,” the Resident Pastor of CCC, New Testament scholar, and theologian will minister alongside Pastor Munoz.

Music & Worship Lineup:
The conference will also feature some of Ghana’s finest gospel worship leaders:

Efe Grace:
A renowned singer-songwriter and worship icon returning to the Conference 1:16 stage, expected to lead patrons in deeply soulful, spirit-filled worship.

Philip Adzale:
A popular gospel recording artist and dynamic leader known for creating immersive worship encounters.

Team Eternity Ghana:
The sensational and contemporary gospel music collective, celebrated for their vibrant sound and unconventional approach to gospel music.

Call to the Youth;
Speaking ahead of the event, Pastor Joshua Obeng highlighted the core vision of the conference: re-anchoring young people in their faith and unleashing them as positive influences in society.

“CCC is thrilled to host Conference 1:16 once again,” Pastor Obeng stated.

He added that, “This platform will allow the youth of Ghana to experience transformative teachings from Pastor Munoz alongside powerful ministrations from our worship leaders. Our prayer is that lives are genuinely transformed to the glory of God.”

He urged young people across the region to take full advantage of the sessions to encounter Christ in a life-changing way.
