CEO of Kofi Adade Foundation urges govt to prioritize basic education …as he donates educational materials to pupils in 3 districts

The Executive Director of the Kofi Adade Foundation, Hon. Kofi Adade, has called on the government and key stakeholders to focus on improving basic education in Ghana.

Speaking at a ceremony where he presented exercise books to pupils from various basic schools in the Atwima Kwanwoma, Ejisu, and Sekyere Kumawu districts, Hon. Adade expressed concern that too much attention is being given to senior high schools at the expense of basic schools.
Hon. Adade emphasized that basic education is the foundation of every child’s educational journey and that it was crucial for the government and stakeholders to prioritize the needs of children at the basic level.
He lamented that, the current focus on Senior High Schools is neglecting the foundational stage of education, which is essential for building a strong educational system.
The Kofi Adade Foundation’s initiative highlights the need for more support for basic schools in Ghana by prioritizing basic education, the government and stakeholders can help build a strong foundation for the country’s educational system and ensure that children have the best possible start in life.
He, therefore ,used the opportunity to express gratitude to all those who supported the foundation for the distributions of education materials.
On his part,the PTA Chairman for Aboabo Kesse D/A Basic School, Mr Emmanuel Bruce, expressed gratitude to Kofi Adade Foundation for the gesture.
Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Asuah Dadzie, Assembly Member for Kwanwoma Electoral Area, urged the pupils to make the best use of the opportunity to learn hard as the future leaders of the country devoid of all acts that have tendency to thwart their education.
