Tension is currently brewing in the camp of former Energy Minister and one of the NPP Flagbearer hopefuls,Hon Boakye Agyarko’s campaign team following the announcement by the Bono East Regional campaign Coordinator,Darlington Bill Boampong-Bediako that he (Boakye Agyarko)has stepped down for Hon Francis Addai-Nimoh in the Run-Off for the 5th position slated for Saturday,2nd September,2023.

The declaration by the Bono East coordinator for BOAKYE AGYARKO on Time 97.7,a local based radio station in Kumasi on Monday,28th August,2023 during its morning show programh as not gone down well with the Camp team.They have subsequently issued a rebuttal below;

ATTENTION

It has come to the attention of Hon. Boakye Agyarko that Time FM 97.7 and Asaase Radio have shared a flyer on social media suggesting that he has stepped down for another contender Mr Addai Nimo.

It should be placed on record that the post by the FM station is TOTALLY FALSE.

We urge all Mr Agyarko’s supporters to disregard it .
