BEST WISHES TO STUDENTS WRITING CERTIFCATE II CORE AND ELECTIVE SUBJECTS EXAMINATIONS.

The Board, Management and Staff of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) would like to extend our warmest regards to all students who are writing the Certificate II Core and Elective Subjects Examinations.

CTVET is organizing the Certificate II Core and Elective Subjects Examinations from 1st August, 2022 to 26th August 2022. In all a total of 26,909 candidates are writing the Core Examinations whilst a total of 29,613 candidates are writing the Elective Examinations. There are also 158 institutions which registered students to partake in this examination.

The Certificate II Examination consists of two parts, the Core and the Elective components. The Core component is made up of English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science Social Studies and Entrepreneurship whiles The Elective Component comprises the trade/professional area programmes.

For this year’s examinations, there are a total of 33 trade/ professional area programmes.
CTVET has been working towards improving TVET assessment through a national external quality assurance system which accredits providers to deliver programmes and accredits verifiers.

It is our hope and prayer that each student achieves success in order to progress on the academic ladder or enter the world of work.
