Snr.Prophet Kofi Owusu
Prophet Kofi Owusu popularly known as “Abandenden ” in his Christmas message encouraged Ghanaians to cherish the value of hard work, endurance, commitment and perseverance and not allow themselves to be led astray by false prophecies and prophetic utterances.
According to the renowned man of God, this generation believes that when they see a prophet, they can be rich overnight, hence there is no need to work and this could be a recipe for unproductivity and it will not help Ghana.
Prophet Kofi Owusu explained that Ghanaians should come together as a nation and correct this anomaly since every country owes it a duty to work hard to develop the country. He said prophecies cannot change one’s status but hard work.
According to him, he is not a prophet of doom but he speaks base on the instructions of the Bible.
He said as a motivational speaker, he will no way prophesize to scare people as others see him. He noted that some people are not determined to work, yet they expect manna to come from heaven which is impossible.
Speaking on the theme ” Be strong ” ,Prophet Kofi Owusu said as a “Christian, you have to be strong wherever you are in order to face all the challenges”.
He said sometimes as a Christian, you have to be strong and remain resolute and not to be undermined by castigations and intimidations to kill your dreams. He said, the parents of Jesus Christ were very strong and protected Him when king Herod wanted to kill Jesus.
According to him, Herod ordered to kill children then because of Jesus Christ where about four thousand children were killed. Prophet Kofi Owusu said, being strong as a Christian sometimes overturns bad circumstances for yourself.
