The Ghana Post Limited, an Agency of the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation (MoCD), has unveiled a new Scuttle Parcel Box Innovation as part of efforts to transform the agency operations into a world class digitalized service delivery institution.
The new service delivery system would provide connectivity to a wider range of customers across the length and breathe of the country.
The Deputy Minister, Hon. Ama Pomaa Boateng, speaking at the launch on behalf of the Sector Minister, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, today, 11th August 2022 in Accra, stated that,
Ghana Post plays a key role in E-Commerce service delivery and as such the Scuttle Parcel Box initiative forms part of ministry’s digital transformation agenda that seeks to leverage on technologies to improve business to all communities.
She added that, the new innovation was also, Anti-theft, Convenient and Reliable which had been developed to enhance customer satisfaction and as well create jobs.
The Managing Director of the Ghana Post, Mr. Nice Osie Kuffour, demonstrated that the Scuttle Parcel Box was designed with a digital addressing system slot that would help and direct the parcel delivery officers to locate prospective clients.
According to him, the boxes were ready for sale at the agency and that upon purchase clients would be assisted with the set up of the boxes at their various houses and organisations.
