The Ministry of Health has announced that Ghana is currently facing three outbreaks: COVID-19, Monkeypox, and Influenza A H3.
All three are communicable diseases and can be transferred from person to person.
A total of 773 Influenza A H3 positive cases, 6 Monkeypox cases, and new COVID 19 cases have been confirmed.
To ensure our personal and collective safety, all are reminded to adhere to the following preventive measures:
- Always wear your nose mask.

Avoid shaking hands with people.

Avoid skin-to-skin, face-to-face, and mouth-to-skin contacts.

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap under running water for at least 20 seconds.

Use alcohol-based hand sanitizers when your hands are not visibly dirty

Do not touch your eyes, mouth, or nose with unwashed or unsanitized hands.

Keep a distance of at least two steps (2 meters) when communicating with others.

Cover your nose or mouth when sneezing or coughing with a tissue, then drop the tissue into a waste bin.

Adhere to all other COVID-19 protocols of hand hygiene, wearing of nose masks, and social distancing.
