On Sunday 20th November 2022, I was part of the Centenary celebration thanksgiving service of the Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery in Kyebi.

The theme for all this important celebration was “100 years of holistic Ministry: Abiding in the Lord and His Work”.

We thank all of our forebears who held on to the torch that we carry today and celebrate.

I want to reserve a special congratulations to Reverend Dr. Seth Kissi, the Presbytery Chairperson of Akyem Abuakwa and his team who took up the planning of the celebration and are handing over to the Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery a befitting edifice for an office and a museum.

I would also like to thank all who contributed immensely to this effort especially His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Personally, I would like to thank the Presbytery for giving me the opportunity to serve as a Member of the planning committee and Chair of the Finance sub-committee for the Centenary celebrations. It has been a great honour indeed!!!
