Five years and still counting, since my wife Irene and I were honoured by His Royal Majesty the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and installed as Sompahene and Sompahemaa at Bremang in the Suame constituency. We consider this a commemorative milestone.

We were warmly welcomed when we appeared before the Chiefs and Queen mothers of the Suame Municipality to thank them and give an account of our stewardship as custom demands. Emphasis was on the activities to mark the anniversary by the Sompahemaa Foundation, an NGO founded by my wife as a direct result of our investiture.

We took the opportunity to brief Nananom, requesting their support and participation in the programmes to observe the 5th Anniversary. These include a Medical screening at the Nsawam

Medium Security Prison and another which will be held at Bremang. I made a request for the Chiefs and Queen mothers to join us on 7th December, 2022, to pay homage to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Nana Kutin Sraman II, Bremanghene, blessed us and pledged their total support.

Nana Bremanghene could not hide the fact that the infrastructural projects prior to 2017 and ongoing projects in the Suame Municipality had occasioned great changes to the community.

He remained hopeful that God will bless our service to Asanteman and the entire nation.
