Nana Ama Ampomah, the Women’s Organizer for the Ashanti Regional Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says her entry and electoral victories in politics has been by the grace of God.

At a service held in her honour at the Hall of Glory of the Moments Of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA)Church, Madam Ampomah said ‘every step I had taken in this arena of politics has been by God’s grace’’.

Madam Ampomah narrated how she had from humble beginnings set out as a normal NPP sympathizer and later a member of the Bantama branch of the party.

She said by God’s grace she was asked by some party persons in the women’s win of the branch to contest as constituency women’s organiser, an advice she noted was acted upon by her as she won two times that enviable accolade as Bantama women’s organiser.

WALK TO REGIONAL LEVEL:

Madam Ampomah further narrated that having won the Bantama women’s organiser seat for two terms she has been called on by some members of the party to go up the ladder.

That, she noted, meant that she attempted a regional level contest, something Madam Ampomah noted was prayerfully thought through.

She disclosed after a consultation with her spiritual father, Reverend Osei Bonsu (REV OB of MOGPA) she was convinced to go for the regional contest.

Madam Ampomah said by God’s grace she won at the KNUST grounds and did so for a second time at Ejura with the third term feat being the recent one she achieved at the Baba Yara stadium.

APPRECIATION:

Madam Ampomah said all these electoral feats had come on her path just because of God’s grace and favour.

She thanked the MOGPA congregation and Leader for standing with her every time she had come to them for support and asked that they bear her up in prayer so she can finish her third term well.

The women’s organiser also thanked members and executives of NPP across the region and urged them to work in unity to break the 8 year governing cycle each government have had to do.

‘’My walk and aim in this political life of mine has been to win power as leader and use the opportunity I get to better the lives of others, especially the needy, sick and unemployed in the society’’, Madam Ampomah noted to loud cheers.
