The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong, was accorded a warm and enthusiastic reception when he addressed the party’s Communications Conference, underscoring the confidence and goodwill he continues to enjoy among party communicators nationwide.

Addressing the gathering, the General Secretary outlined key strategic decisions aimed at strengthening the party’s communications machinery ahead of the 2028 general elections. He announced that the Communications Conference will be replicated in all sixteen regions to deepen engagement, improve capacity, and unearth new communication talents at every level of the party.

He further disclosed plans for the establishment of a National Communications Committee to drive coordinated, disciplined, and consistent messaging across all platforms. As part of the reforms, communicators will be subjected to structured monitoring, appraisal, and evaluation to ensure effectiveness, accountability, and alignment with party objectives.

Touching on internal party processes, Lawyer Kodua Frimpong commended the Elections Committee for its professionalism and efficiency, noting that no aspirant, presidential or otherwise, has ever lodged a complaint alleging bias or unfairness in the committee’s work. He stressed that the Ghana Police Service will be responsible for providing security for the elections scheduled for the 31st, reinforcing the party’s commitment to transparency and order.

He also challenged the Ashanti Region to lead the pace in communication efforts as the party prepares for victory in 2028, describing the region as a critical pillar in the NPP’s electoral strategy.
In recognition of his unwavering support and the tremendous work he has done to strengthen the party’s communications outfit, and for his overall leadership as General Secretary, Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong was presented with a plaque by the conference organizers. The honour symbolised the appreciation of party communicators for his accessibility, consistency, and firm commitment to building a united, disciplined, and results-driven communications front.
