KMA PM HEAPS PRAISES ON AHMADIYYA MUSLIM MISSIONS’S CONTRIBUTIONS TO GHANA’S DEVELOPMENT

The Presiding Member (PM) for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly(KMA), Hon. Kwame Frimpong has acknowledged the contributions of Muslims that have brought Ghana to this far.

 

He mentioned TI Amass, Ahmadiyya clinic at Effiduasi – Asokore which are rendering quality services to Ghanaians. He therefore urged them not to be complacent but do more to complement government’s efforts.

Hon.Patrick Kwame Frimpong who doubles as the Assembly member for Krofrom East electoral area and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Safe Journey Foundation, an NGO specialized in road safety campaign was speaking at Eid-Ul-Adha celebration held by Ahmadiyya Muslims Missions.On behalf of the Kumasi Mayor,Hon.Samuel Pyne and the Assembly, the Presiding Member presented one cow to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission

In his remarks,the Ashanti Regional Missionary for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Maulvi Abdul Hamid Tahir says   Muslims throughout the country would continue to live in harmony with other religious groups in order to sustain the prevailing peace.

According to him, no country could develop in an atmosphere of anarchy and disorder hence the need for all Ghanaians to live in peace irrespective of one’s religious affiliations.

Addressing the Muslims during this year’s celebration of Eid- ul-Adha, Maulvi Abdul Hamid Tahir said nations that have been experiencing religious intolerance lag behind progress and development. He cautioned Muslims youth to be wary of their lives and desist from behaviors that could dent the image of Islam.
