LET’s ALL HAVE POSITIVE MINDSET IN 2023 AND BEYOND FOR ACCELERATED GROWTH-Nana Yaw Agyei advises Ghanaians

The Kyidomhene of Mpasatia in the Atwima Mponua District of Ashanti, Nana Yaw Agyei has advised all Ghanaians to enter the year 2023 with a positive mindset for accelerated growth and development.

 

He said the year 2022 was full of misfortunes and calamities which have been attributed to negative notion among Ghanaians.

He explained to this paper that the year 2023 would be more blessings if all Ghanaians contribute their quota devoid of selfishness and greediness.  He noted that one of the major setbacks that confronted the nation in 2022 was galamsey.

According to him, in as much as the government and other stakeholders are intensifying the fight against galamsey menace, the citizenry who are involved in the galamsey activities must also be considerate about the effect of the galamsey for now and generations to come. He said it is very unfortunate that some top government officials are allegedly deeply involved in the galamsey. He said the government introduced community mining as a means to sanitize the local mining which is a step in right direction but once the effort is backfired, the government should also adopt another method to control the galamsey fight. Nana Yaw Agyei who is also the “Sodohene ” of Toase challenge the government to make agric priority in the years ahead.

He said if the farming industry is making productive, it would go a long way to attract the youth in order to reduce the unemployment rate.

Nana Yaw Agyei also urged the leadership of the country to govern the nation with the fear of God which is the only way to bring heavenly blessings to the nation.

He finally urged the President to hear public outcry concerning the sacking of his poor performing appointees. He said the President should be bold and sack any of his appointees who is not fit for the job in order to regain the lost confidence in his administration.
