A flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central Constituency, Mr Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has declared that he is not like Mr Alan John Kyeremanten who is so gentle, and he will not tolerate hooliganism in the NPP.

Speaking during his showdown rally in Kumasi over the weekend, Mr Agyapong warned, “l’m not like Alan who is so gentle. Let them try and they will see what will happen.”

He strongly bemoaned hooliganism in the NPP and chastised those who insult party members who speak against it. He said Alan, Boakye Agyarko and himself had been vilified for condemning hooliganism in the party.

The flagbearer hopeful stressed that he was eager and passionate to put his life on the line for the youth of Ghana by becoming president to steer the affairs of the country, adding that he would continue to expose wrongdoings.

He continued, saying “let’s vote for a man with a vision … Based on research, we don’t need to go and buy ceramic tiles from China. We can build ceramic factories in the Ashanti Region …”

According to the MP, a lot of factories will be established in the Ashanti Region if he is given the nod to lead the country.
