MASLOC Dep CEO Cautions NPP against Apathy in 2024 Polls

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microfinance and Loans Centre (MASLOC),Hon.Kwabena Asamoah,has advised the rank and file of the governing New Patriotic  Party(NPP)across the country, specially TESCON members to publicize the good works of Nana Addo led administration everywhere they found themselves.

 

According to him, Nana Addo led government has done a lot of projects aside the implementation of several social interventions.

”At MASLOC alone, over Ghc 150 Million has been disbursed since 2017 to date to various groups and individuals to expand their businesses. I wish to urge members of TESCON to also take advantage of MASLOC and apply for the loans to start or grow your businesses”.

He also commended Nana Addo’s  government for working hard to solve the Energy crisis and prudent measures put in place to keep the lights on.

Hon.Kwabena Asamoah was given a standing ovation as soon as the Master of ceremony (MC) for the program read his brief profile and introduced him to deliver his speech as a special guest speaker for the Christ Apostolic University College meeting and Freshers’ orientation held on Sunday,28th May,2023 in Kumasi.

He cautioned the rank and file of the NPP to desist from all acts that have tendency to breed apathy in 2024 general elections.”Let’s all do everything possible to remain in power to continue to help develop our country”.

The Deputy MASLOC CEO encourages TESCON members as well as every member of NPP to rededicate themselves to ensure the re-election of the governing Party to enable them continue their good policies and programs for accelerated development of the country.

Hon.Asamoah who donated Ten Thousand Ghana cedis (GHC 10,000) to support Christ Apostolic College’s TESCON activities said “2024 polls is very crucial and in my view, breaking the 8 in 2024 general elections  without TESCON will be a very difficult thing. I’m therefore urging the Party to try as much as possible to give TESCON branches across the country the necessary resource and support to operate .

As for me, I have already committed myself to support activities and Programs of TESCON to ensure they(TESCON) continue to be effective and I will continue to do that”,he assured.

The Deputy MASLOC CEO,a native of Adansi Asokwa who is highly tipped by many residents especially NPP delegates to succeed Hon,K.T.Hammond ahead of 2023 general elections were mobbed by party activists and students of Christ Apostolic University College meeting and Freshers’ orientation.

 

He also stressed on the need for all party members to bury their differences and come together to support whoever will be elected as the Party’s Flagbearer for 2024 polls.”Without unity cannot succeed and we need every hand on deck to break the 8 easily”, he added.

The Member of Parliament(MP) for Kwadaso,Prof.Dr.Kingsley Nyarko,on his part stated that NDC led by former President Mahama as their candidate for 2024 polls has nothing new to offer Ghanaians.He therefore advised Ghanaians to continue to support NPP to break the 8 to continue the goods done by Nana Addo.

According to him,NDC will try all means to block them(NPP) from breaking the 8 in 2024 like they did in 2008 but this time round, “let’s do everything possible to break the 8 rather than breaking ourselves because of pending internal elections”.Kwadaso MP also added his voice to the call on all NPP members communicators and TESCON members to project the good works and policies of the government everywhere they go.
