STC Chief Executive Officer, Nana Akomea says he is highly optimistic that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will win the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential election on November 4.
According to him, Dr. Bawumia’s emphatic victory in the party’s super delegates election on Saturday, August 26 is a good indication of his performance in the upcoming main election.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia polled 629 votes, beating his competitors with an overwhelming 68.15% margin, to come tops on the top five candidates’ list.
“I have no doubt that it is the same thing that will happen. Looking at the results, winning at every single Region, he is the heart desire of the party. So, when the electoral college is expanded and the people contesting is few, I expect his margins to go higher,” Nana Akomea told host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ morning show.
