As the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) prepares to hold it constituency executives election, Mr. Abambila John,a member of the party’s communication team and a law student bid to become the Ahafo Ano North deputy constituency secretary has received a major boost with majority of the delegates backing him as the right man for the job.

According to a cross section of the delegates,Abambila John is a dedicated grassroots leader and a favourite person for the Deputy Secretary Constituency in Ahafo Ano North.

The delegates and party supporters,who are supporting Abambila’s bid, described him as a committed party loyalist with deep roots in the constituency.
“He has built a reputation for practical organisation, unity-building, and hands-on leadership.”a leading member of the party pointed out.

We’re herefore urging the delegates in Ahafo Ano North to vote for Abambila John as our next Deputy Secretary.”. The NDC members, mostly delegates maintained that Abambila has served the NDC well and needs to be rewarded.

Abambila John,who submitted his nomination papers on Thursday, 24th September, 2026,told journalists that his leadership is guided by the 3Rs Agenda – Reunite, Rebuild, and recapture.

The nomination form was duly received by Adams Musah, the elections.
According to him, under this vision, he prioritises:
• Reunite: Holding regular, inclusive meetings that bring together all factions, polling-station executives, and ordinary members to heal divisions and restore trust.
• Rebuild: Strengthening party structures from the ground up, with special focus on reconstructing and modernising the constituency party office so it becomes a functional hub for meetings, training, and mobilisation
• Recapture: Re-energising the grassroots and positioning the party to regain and expand electoral support in Ahafo Ano North.
Known for his approachable style and focus on delivery rather than rhetoric, Abambila John emphasises disciplined organisation, transparent communication, and collective ownership of the party’s future. He continues to work closely with polling-station executives, youth and women organisers, and community stakeholders to ensure the constituency remains active, united, and ready for the challenges ahead.
He is currently a communication team member in the Ashanti Region, who is vibrant and eloquent on issues.
