Alan Kyerematen, one of the Presidential aspirants of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has thanked delegates for voting for him during the party’s Super Delegates Conference.
The former Trades Minister came third after Saturday’s election with 95 votes representing 10.29 percent.
In a statement released on Monday, he however expressed “deep sorrow about the brutal assault on my polling agent in the North East region. This is an indelible blot to the integrity of the internal democratic process within the NPP” and assured the agent’s family of his “unwavering support for his wellbeing”
Meanwhile, “in the course of his week,” he will “deliver a public broadcast on the way forward for my campaign”.
