PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS MINISTER INAUGURATES TEN MEMBER ENTITY TENDER COMMITTEE

The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Osei Kyei- Mensah-Bonsu inaugurated a Ten (10) Member Entity Tender Committee at the Minister’s Conference Room, on 16th June, 2022.

 

The functions of the Committee were as follows:
• To ensure procurement is compliant with Act 663 as amended and Regulations.
• Review and approve procurement plans.
• Confirm Cost and Match with available Funds
• Ensure necessary concurrent approvals are obtained from the appropriate Tender Review Committee.

The Minister pointed out that it is important for the Ministry to have such a structure within the Ministry adding that the Nation spends huge sums of money on Procurement.

The Committee Members were:
Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu(MP),Chairman,Evans Aggrey-Darkoh,Ph.D. Chief Director-MoPA, Mrs. Gifty Joyce Oteng Bosomprah, Director of Finance and Administration- Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Kwame Oppong- Ntim- Ag. Director, PPBME -MOPA, Ms. Justina Bediako- Ag Director, HRDM, Mr. Emmanuel Osei Owusu – Head, Finance-MOPA, Dr. Ebenezer Esilfie Baiden- Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, PC-SSNIT- Pension House, ING. Albert. Ashong-Lamptey – Ghana Institution of Engineering, Ms. Heidi-Marie Boakye – Attorney General and Ministry of Justice and Mr. Francis T. Boateng – Senior Procurement and Supply Chain – MOPA.

The Minister therefore urged the Committee to work hard and deliver what is expected of them
