Pranghene Praises Nana Addo’s Gov’t for ongoing Abease to Kintampo Road Project

The Paramount Chief of Prang in the Pru West District of the Bono East Region, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III is grateful to the government for awarding road contract from Prang through Abease to Kintampo.

He said if the tarring of the road is completed it would go a long way to assist farmers to transport their farming produces to market centres easily without hindrance.

Nana Kwadwo Nyarko who was interacting with this paper said farmers within this stretch of road had been complaining of bad nature of the road and as a result find it difficult to send their produces to big towns like Apesika, Abease, Prang, Kintampo, Atebubu and others.

He said as a result of the bad nature of road sometimes the drivers also double transportation fares or charge exorbitant fates.

On the ongoing Agenda 111 hospital project for which Prang is beneficiary, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko reiterated that though, things are not all that easy in terms of mobilisation of enough funds to complete it but he was hopeful that it would be completed before the end of 2024.

He said he usually visits the site to give morale support and encouragement to the workers. On the ongoing Prang town roads project, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko was also happy and appreciated the level of work done so far.

According to him, when it is done, Prang would merits its status as the District capital for Pru West. He was also grateful to the Political Science Department of University of Ghana his former School.

He said he went to the University with the different coarse but upon the advised by the workers of the Department, he was convinced to read Political Science. According to him, his leadership style is unique as a result of good training he had from the University.

Nana Kwadwo Nyarko is seen by many as very accommodative, tolerant, prayerful,and respectful.

According to him, it is always at the back of his mind to help erase perception that chieftaincy is all about riding and dancing in palanquins. ” I have done enough for my people and I believe they have appreciated .

The achievements are there in the areas of education, health, roads, infrastructure, water among other sectors for verification”,he added
