General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Koduah, has alleged that several executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are involved in illegal mining (galamsey)activities.

He raised concerns about what he described as the apparent wealth and extravagant lifestyles of some party officials, suggesting that their financial status warranted public scrutiny.
Mr Koduah’s comments come amid ongoing public debate over illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey, and allegations of political involvement in the activity.
He called on the NDC executives he referred to to account for their wealth and address questions surrounding the source of their financial resources.
