The Office of Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has taken notice of a group operating under the name “Friends of Osei Adutwum” and a statement issued by the group questioning the position of broadcast journalist and media commentator, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, for expressing support for another individual as the New Patriotic Party’s preferred running mate.

For the avoidance of doubt, we categorically dissociate ourselve from both the said group and its statement. The Office has neither authorised nor mandated any group or individual to issue statements, launch attacks, or engage in public commentary on its behalf regarding the running mate debate.

The NPP is bigger than any individual or interest group. Our ultimate objective must remain victory in 2028.
