The Ashanti Regional Executives of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi, have expressed their profound gratitude to Asantenhene and entire Asanteman for their continue support.

According to them,the region has been very supportive to NPP all these years and they can’t keep quiet without showing their appreciation.

Saturday 27th May,2023 marked exactly a year when Chairman Wontumi was re-elected for the third time with other executives to steer the affairs of the party for four (4)years inline with NP Constitution.

Said” we’re very grateful to Asantenhene, Otunfuo Osei Tutu II, Nananom, traders, Assembly Members and entire Asanteman for your support.
Last Saturday,27th May,2023 marked exactly a one year when I and other executives were elected to lead our Great Party(NPP).

We attended Church at Cathedral to thank God on Sunday,28th May,2023 and also decided to hold this press conference to officially show our deepest appreciation to Otunfuo Osei Tutu II ,Nananom,traders, Assembly Members as well as entire residents of Asanteman for your support especially during COVID-19 padamic coupled with Russian/Ukraine war”.

The Ashanti Regional chairman also used the opportunity to thank Nana Akufo-Addo led administration for the massive infrastructure development in the Ashanti region.
He mentioned several roads projects including Atonsu-Lake Bosomtwe,Obuasi road, Alphabet overlays , massive expansion of Kumasi Airport, Abuakwa road among others.

According to Chairman Wontumi ,NPP government has done well to deserve another term.
He therefore urged Ghanaians to renew the mandate of NPP come 2024 general elections.
He mentioned several social infrastructure development in various Senior High Schools across the country, several social interventions implemented since former President Kufour’s administration including Metro Mass transport,Free Mental health care, National Health Insurance Scheme(NHIS), National Youth Employment Program,Leap, School Program etc..
Ashanti NPP chairman said since Nana Addo took over power in 2023,he has also proven NDC and other critics wrong by implementing the Free Senior High School policy, restoration of both Teacher and Nursing Trainees allowance, implementation of One District,One Factory , Planting for Food and Jobs among others to buttress his points why NPP should be voted to continue in 2024 polls .

Chairman Wontumi therefore entreated Ghanaians, especially the voting population to compare achievements of NDC’s 16 years in power and that of NPP to inform them of which party is more development-oriented .and should be voted in 2024 general elections.

“Ashanti NPP is grateful for many projects Nana Addo led government has done as well as the ongoing projects.We’re also appealing for more Projects especially Suame interchange which sod was cut few months ago among othersWe wish to assure President Akufo-Addo of our continue support and prayers to succeed in all things”,he added

Chairman Wontumi again thank Kumawu Paramount chief , Nananom and residents of Kumawu for voting massively for NPP candidate,Mr Ernest Yaw Anim to retain Kumawu seat
