The Regional executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),under the leadership of Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako,popularly known as Chairman Wontumi,on Sunday,7th April 2024,inaugurated the constituency campaign team for Atwima Mponua.

The event was well-attended by party supporters across the constituency.
In his address to the enthusiastic crowd,Chairman Wontumi emphasized the importance of unity for achieving a resounding victory, one that would greatly weaken the main opposition in the constituency and put them in perpertual comatose.

He,also urged the rank and file of the party to put aside any feelings of animosity and strive for a 90% vote in favour of the NPP’s Presidential and Parliamentary candidates.

Hon Seth Osei-Akoto(Nana Owusu Sekyere),the newly elected Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency,also rallied the party faithfuls,urging them to work tirelessly as if they were wrestling power from opposition.He stressed the need for unity and cohesion,emphasizing that the task ahead was monumental and required collective effort from all and sundry.

Echoing the concerns of the previous speakers,the Constituency Chairman,Mr.Collins Addai,reiterated the call for unity and dedication to ensuring victory for the NPP emphasizing the importance of determination in achieving the goals of the ‘Elephant family’.

Following the inauguration,the campaign team was sworn into office by the Regional political leader.Subsequently,Nana Owusu Sekyere,the constituency executives and party faithfuls organized a thanksgiving service,visiting various churches to express gratitude to God for a peaceful election a few months prior.They sought the prayers of the congregations,emphasizing the importance of keeping the NPP in power,attributing the progress and development in Mponua to the ruling government.

Among the notable attendees were Hon. Isaac Kofi Marfo, the District Chief Executive, Mr. Patrick Acheampong, the Regional 1st Vice Chair, Mr. Dennis Kwakwa, Mr. Andy Owusu, and Mame Afia.Their presence underscored the significance of the event and the unity within the party leadership. Also in attendance were constituency executives,Electoral Area coordinators,polling station officers and party supporters.
