Dela Edem, a member of the NDC’s National Communications Team and an aide to John Mahama, made controversial remarks during a TV XYZ appearance, describing Kufuor as “evil” and attributing his health condition to a curse.

In a statement issued on Saturday (16 November), NPP National Organiser Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, denounced the comments as “despicable, shameful, and disgraceful”.

He called on former President John Mahama to disassociate himself from the remarks and take disciplinary action against Edem.

The NPP has also urged Mr Mahama to publicly apologize to Kufuor, emphasizing that the former president remains a respected statesman whose dignity must be upheld
