The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, paid a courtesy call on the Asantehemaa, Nana Yaa Akyaa II, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on September 17, 2026, to congratulate her on her enstoolment.
