The Municipal Chief Executive for Atebubu/Amantin in the Bono East Region, Hon. Mas’ud Musah Ayarba has reiterated the government’s commitment to initiating policies to improve the lives of the good citizens within the municipality.

He said the Assembly has initiated projects under water, for roads, for education, for health, and for other infrastructure. On the road infrastructure, the MCE said, one of the challenges facing the municipality is persistent armed robbery cases.
He said that currently, there is ongoing road patching on the main Ejura/Atebubu road.

He explained that armed robbers take advantage of ambushes and rob innocent drivers and passengers in the pothole areas. He said the President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, as part of his reset agenda, has promised to asphalt the Ejura/Atebubu/Yeji road to provide permanent solutions to the robbery cases.
He said that as the municipality awaits, the President’s promised to be fulfilled, there is the need to embark on road patching to make the road motorable as a temporal solution to reduce the frustration of motorists and passengers.
The MCE assured his people to continue to support him and the government in order to do more for them.
