A video of Mr. Boakye Agyarko downplaying the Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has surfaced online just days ahead of the party’s national executive elections.

Mr. Boakye Agyarko, who is currently one of the stalwarts contesting for the party’s Chairmanship position, is seen in the video describing the position as useless and without real authority.

In the viral video, Mr. Agyarko is heard saying, “I will not contest the position of chairman of the New Patriotic Party, at national level the authority is rested on the General Secretary, the Chairman, ‘Simpa Panin’, to wit the chairman is useless.”
