The Chief Executive Officer of Senya Farms at Aduamoa in the Afigya Kwabre South District of Ashanti, Mr. John Senya, has urged the government to reintroduce the road tolls in order to generate funds to embark on projects.

He said, the government keeps on complaining of lack of funds, yet the road tolls could be reintroduced to cushion the country.
In his new year message, Mr. Senya noted that Ghana, has become a nation difficult to survive in because of financial challenges and wonder why the government is not doing any meaningful thing to seal the wrong draining of funds.

” Half a loaf is better than none. If the road tolls are introduced at least Ghana could get something small which is better than not getting anything at all “. he added.

According to him, the closure of the road tolls, has also worsened the unemployment rate that the country is currently facing.
He said it would be good if the government and his team go back to the table and put their heads together and do the needful.
