As part of his social and corporate responsibility to support communities where he operates as a businessman, Mr. Felix Yaw Andam, who is known for his philanthropic activities, has donated 10 sets of teachers tables and chairs, and 100 pieces of plastic chairs to support and enhance effective teaching and learning for teachers and pupils of Adansi Atetem D/A Basic School in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti Region.

In an interview with the media after his donation, Mr Andam, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Anfel Mining and Farms Limited, said he had assured the authorities of the Atetem D/A Basic School of securing burglar-proof protection for the computer lab of the school to prevent it from theft.

He disclosed that his doors were widely opened all the time for institutions within his operational areas.

Nana Osei Boahen, the Ankobiahene of Adansi Brofoyedu, commended Mr. Andam for his kind gesture and support for the Adansi Atetem D/A Basic School.

According to him, the donation would go a long way to enhance effective teaching and learning and also motive the teachers to give off their best to impact knowledge to the school pupils.

Nana Osei Boahen pointed out that even politicians could not provide assistance like what the CEO of Anfel Mining and Farms Limited had done. He, therefore, encouraged others to emulate his good gesture.

The Adansi Brofoyedu Ankobiahene further disclosed that not long ago, Mr. Andam donated sets of exercises books and other learning materials to both the Adansi Brofoyedu D/A and Atetem Basic schools, including other schools.

The chief was grateful for the continued support of Mr. Andam to the various schools in the area. He also advised the students to take their studies very seriously.
