The spiritual head and President of Tijanniya Muslim Council, Sheikh Ahmed Faidi Abdullai Maikano says he foresees death ahead of him.
He has therefore advised his followers to be calm and give thanks to Allah if it comes to pass.
He said his death is not going to be a natural but rather artificial one. Addressing his followers during this year’s celebration of Maudi at Prang, the District capital of Pru West in the Bono East Region, Sheikh Ahmed Maikano said he has been receiving threats over a long period of time but nothing has been done to trace and arrest the perpetrators.
He said threats on him started when the NDC was in power and the same threats are still coming under the present government.
According to him, what annoys him most is that people have tagged him and his followers as being affiliated to NPP and for that matter the vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and expect the officials to act and deal swiftly on the threatening messages he has been receiving.

He noted that all his efforts to get these people arrested have fallen to deaf ears. This pronouncements by Sheikh Maikano came as a shock to his followers which turned the event grounds like a funeral event.
Sheikh Maikano entreated his followers to prioritize their welfare and also use the event to renew their faith with Allah.
He charged them to work hard as it is the only way to progress in life. He also charged them to send their children to school in order to take leadership position in the future.
On his part, the Vice President, Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia in an address read for him by Hon. Abdallah Banda, former MP for Offinso South said they should continue to live in peaceful with other religious faith in order to Foster unity.
He said it is only through this that Ghana can growth in its developmental agenda.
In a show of support for the on -going Teshie Homowo festival, Hon.Benjamin Narteh Ayiku, Member of Parliament for the constituency, has made a generous donation of official 2023 sesetse chemise.
The presentation took place at a brief ceremony held at Nyɔnmɔ Tsaanaa, where constituency executives, coordinators, family heads of Nyɔnmɔ Tsaanaa, and the sesetse were present.
The donation by Hon. Ayiku aims to enhance the cultural significance of the Teshie Homowo festival, which celebrates the Teshie people’s harvest and marks the beginning of a new farming season.

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed why he is comfortable in the church.
Bawumia cited the centrality of Jesus Christ to the Christian faith and the commonalities of the Jesus presented in the Bible and that presented in the Quran.
He stressed a number of similarities that both Islam and Christianity hold about Jesus and his mother Mary to drive home the fact that Jesus unifies both faiths by and large.
“Many people wonder why I am so comfortable in the church. The answer is quite simple. I am comfortable in the church because Jesus Christ is the center of the church. As a Muslim, I am very comfortable with Jesus Christ.
“I find many similarities in the Jesus Christ presented in the Bible and in the Quran. We (Muslims) believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, we believe in the holy book,” he said during an address at the 23rd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (August 20, 2023).
Bawumia explained that Jesus is referred to in the Quran as the spirit of God and Muslims believe in his miracles, among others, raising the dead, healing the blind and the sick.

“We all believe that Jesus Christ will come back and defeat the anti-Christ and save the world,” he said tasking the faithful to like him, “focus on commonalities and not the differences, our battle is with Satan and not with each other. And so, I am very comfortable in the church,” he stressed.

The change of name, the General Overseer, Reverend Ekow Eshun at a launch last Friday at Gyinyase said has been necessitated by the new vision of the church and the direction of the Holy Spirit.

He also announced the set up of Life Convention Ministries (LCM), an overaching Ministry to oversee all aspects of operations of various giftings in the church.
“Today i stand here to declare by the power and authority of Jesus Christ that we are now called SpiritLife Community and this is to ensure that we fully operate as a new testament church in all aspects of the ministry as we also set up Life Covention Ministries, a wing that would guide us to fully operate the five fold ministries and giftings Christ gave to the church ⛪ “, Rev Eshun declared.

Reverend Eshun disclosed the set up of a new website of the church with the name www.spiritlifecommunity.org.
This site, he noted would be used to coordinate, update, inform and operate all aspects of the church’s programmes and activities.
The General Overseer also announced a ten year development plan for the church and said an endowment Fund with a seed money of One Million cedis would soon be launched.
The seed money, he revealed would be used to facilitate some of the projects earmarked from now till 2033 where the church intends to plant 100 churches across Ghana 🇬🇭, empower its Harvest Bible Training School as well as the construction of a National Secretariat and the set up of Satellite and Internet Broadcasting outfits.

Earlier on in the day, Rev Carl Abode Spencer, guest speaker, exhorted the church to work to reflect the dicates and mission the new name connotes.
He tasked the leaders of the church to guide the congregation to use their God-given talents and gifting to influence positive behaviour and actions of the church and the society.
Reverend Kofi Baisey, Spiritual father of the General Overseer in dedicating the church to God asked that every operation of the church reflects its new name.
He prayed that the church grows to mirror Christ and his fullness to the Ghanaian society.

At a press conference held on Thursday June 29th 2023 at the premises of the Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), 21 representatives of the Association of 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies across the country who owe allegiance to the late founder and President of the church, Elder Enoch Ofori Snr, jointly disowned the current Acting President of the church , pastor Macaiah Addai for allegedly blaspheming against the name of Jesus Christ.
Macaiah Addai was also alleged to have been introducing a strange doctrines that go contrary to the constitution of the church.
Addressing media about the rationale behind the conference, spokesperson for the 21 representatives of the church, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr, said over the past several weeks the attention of the church have been drawn to a series of reports about an alleged scandal involving the Macajah Addai.
According to the spokesperson, the scandal which directed to Macaiah Addai pointed out that he had taken over the wife of one of the church members ( Mr Kofi Adjei’s wife, Madam Gloria Amponsah as his own wife.
The victim Kofi Adjei a (church member) feeling cheated, sued pastor Macaiah Addai at the Asantehemaa’s palace for redress.
This was when Adjei had referred the case to pastor Macaiah Addai been his spiritual father to settle scores between him and the wife, Gloria Amponsah also a church member but to no avail, Enoch Ofori Jnr told the media.
Adding that at the Asantehemaa’s palace Macaiah Addai was found guilty and customarily ordered to slaughter 4 sheep but through pleadings from a prominent chief, two sheep was accepted, and allowed to pay for the two sheep.
The slaughtering of the two sheep were converted into local currency where Macaiah was made to pay Ghc 6000, Elder Ofori Jnr pointed out.
He additional fine of GHC 15,000 been compensation for Kofi Adjei was further slapped on pastor Macaiah Addai who has since paid to Adjei to comfort his soul.
Referring the various media publications in connection with pastor Macaiah Addai’s alleged unlawful sexual behavior, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr said the church has suffered underserved public ridicule and approbrium, not because of Macaiah Addai is practicing the beliefs and practices of the church, but because he has deviated from the true teachings and beliefs of the church,while his name is associated with.
We wish to put on records that the church founded and registered in 1970 by the late Elder Enoch Ofori Snr in cooperation with the late Elder G.C.Gray of the United States of America is a Christian organization which upholds the core beliefs of Christianity, including the practice of monogamy which God initiated in the Garden of Eden from the beginning of mankind, the spokesperson underscored.
Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr further stated that Macaiah Addai has stated in multiple times on the various platforms that he is not a Christian and made it a habit to allegedly blaspheme against the name of Jesus Christ at least opportunity.
The spokesperson added that by the actions of Macaiah Addai who already has three wives apart from the church member’s wife he snatched, the church cannot associates itself with a person whose doctrines go contrary to the church’s constitution.

The church members observed that since the passing of the founder of the church in 2007, Macaiah Addai has resorted to alleged violence and threatening activities with the intention to hijack elections to vote for a substantial president to run the affairs of the church, journalists gathered.
Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr asserted that the late founder and leader of the church, Elder Enoch Ofori Snr in his last book published in 2006 before his death entitled: “Law At The World Level”, denounced the practice of polygamy.
He stressed that by the virtue of Macaiah Addai’s conduct, including the practice of polygamy, allegations of courting the help of fetish priest in a gold deal, Macaiah Addai has obviously breached all the scriptural and ethical rules of the priesthood office.
As the Bible says, a priest must be a husband of one wife, (1 Timothy 3-2) must not marry a divorce woman (Lev 21:14, Ezek44: 22) Deut 13 -1-3,. 1John 5:20, Macaiah does not fall under the aforementioned scriptural categories to call himself as a credible man of God who can lead the sons and daughters of God to the Heaven gate.
According to Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr the Association of 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies neither teaches polygamy nor condones wife- snatching, and on the contrary, members promote sound christian principles and teachings anchored by Christ Jesus the Rock of Ages.

The head pastor of the Cornerstone Bible Church International at Ayigya in the Oforikrom Municipality of Ashanti, His Grace Apostle Godbless Boateng has challenged his colleague men of God to focus on the soul winning which is the aim behind the death of Christ instead of challenging and fighting themselves on social media.
He explained that it is very disheartening to see pastors throwing insults on radio and other social media platforms among themselves and neglect the core mandate of winning souls for Christ.
In an interview during the celebration of this year’s Fathers Day, Apostle Godbless Boateng reminded pastors that they are the congregational fathers and their lives should serve as role models for their followers to follow.

According to him, a father is not only the someone who brought you into the earth but anyone who counsels, advises, intervenes among others.
He noted that the celebration of Fathers Day has brought special connections among fathers and their children’s as Ghanaians witness series of calls and presentation of gifts.
Apostle Godbless Boateng used the occasion to advised fathers to continue to provide their fatherly roles of providing basic needs for the proper upbringing of their wards.
According to him, some fathers once they give birth to a child that is the end whether the child will eat or not is not their concern.
The deputy Asante Nkramohene ( Sariki Tuba ), Alhaji Amadu Owusu has urged all religious bodies to continue to live peaceful co – existence in order to accelate progress and development.

The Ashanti Regional Missionary of the Almadiyya Muslims Mission, Maulvi Hameed Tahir has observed that the Eid Adha signifies obedience and humbleness attitude Ibrahim exhibited towards Allah.
He however expressed the need for Muslims to learn a great lesson from the sacrifice Ibrahim made to Allah with his son Ishmael and replicates such in the society.
Maulvi Hameed Tahir made these remarks during this year’s celebration of Eid Adha.
He asked them to protect the sanctity of Islam and cautioned Muslim youth to desist from acts that have potency to destroy the image of Islam.
He noted that the forebears of its founder should live by the tenet it was instituted. He warned them against their involvement in negative acts such as drug abuse, armed robbery and other social vices.
