The first meeting of the Women’s Caucus of NALAG under the new administration was held on February 4, 2025, in Accra, bringing together distinguished regional representatives and a delegate from Canada 🇨🇦 Councillor Kathy and the former leader of the Women Caucus Hon Gladys .

The session was chaired by the esteemed Presiding Member of the Ejisu Municipal Assembly, Hon. Helena Mensah, who also serves as the National Leader of the Women’s Caucus of NALAG.

Discussions centered on key issues affecting the Women’s Caucus, strategies to advocate for women in leadership roles, and initiatives to enhance the welfare of representatives and the nation at large.

The meeting fostered a spirit of peaceful collaboration between the Women’s Caucus and the Canadian delegation, strengthening efforts to promote women’s advancement into higher positions. As a gesture of cultural pride and unity, Hon. Helena Mensah presented each representative with a piece of kente, symbolizing the rich heritage of Ghana.
