Some Ghanaians have thrown their outmost support for the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars ahead of the friendly encounter against five times world champions, the Selecao of Brazil on Friday.

The friendly encounter would help prepare the two sides ahead of the 2022 Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in Qatar having booked a ticket to the mundial in November.

This has spark up conversations as to whether head coach of the Ghanaian side, Otto Addai and his men can conquer the South American side for the first time to boost their confidence ahead of the world party.

Some fans speaking in an interview shared their expectations in Friday’s game.

Henry Ahenkorah told the news team that “ First of all I am excited that the Black Stars of Ghana have qualified for the World Cup, but facing Brazil is really a good test to realize whether we are prepared or not and I know that we will beat Brazil if not a draw will do.”

He further lauded that the presence of Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu and some new faces in the team would contribute to Ghana’s success on Friday.

Ismael Ansah was also confident that Ajax talisman, Mohammed Kudus would be a player to look out for in the game against Brazil.

According to him, the recent performance of the midfielder was a testimony to the bright future of the youngsters in the coming years.

“ The guy is good and I know he has more goals in his coffers for us, he has proved to be solid and we have confidence in him,” he stated

Michael Sarfo urged Ghanaians to also rally behind the team in order to boost their confidence as they go into Friday’s clash.

“I believe in the Black Stars team to pick up either a win or a draw, but I trust Otto Addo to make this dream come through for us,” he said.

Otto Addo and his men would be hoping for a miracle to redeem themselves this time round having suffered a lone goal defeat in the last friendly encounter with Brazil.
