In our Ghanaian society Turkey berry is locally known as “Kantoshie” which is added to soups to enrich the taste but health sources has also given another point of how eating “Kantoshie” could be healthy for the body.
Turkey berries have so many special ways it helps the body, the following entails more of it’s health benefits to our bodies;
1.Helps in digestion
Turkey berry is beneficial for the digestion system because it helps to clean the digestive system by fashioning out or softening the undigested foods in the system.Also it is a good source of antioxidants, which can help to protect the cells from damage. Additionally, Turkey berry has fiber content, which can help to keep your digestive system move smoothly.

Turkey Berry helps to fight anemia. Thus, these berries an be prepared into treats which can be a healthy snack or dessert, which is also a great way to get children to eat vegetables.
