Renowned road contractor, Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job has praised President John Dramani Mahama for the swift payment to contractors working under the Big Push infrastructure projects.
According to him, the government through the Ministry of Roads and Highways has been honest with contractors by promptly paying certificates raised for work done.
Mr. Job, who is the founder of Kofi Job Construction Limited, said the timely payment has enabled contractors to stay on site and accelerate work without financial constraints.

He disclosed this when the Minister of Roads and Highways Governs Kwame Agodza paid unannounced visits to one of his sites on the Konongo bypass road project on Wednesday, September 30,2026
He noted that in the past, delayed payments crippled many contractors and stalled major road projects across the country, but the current arrangement has brought relief to the construction industry.
He commended the President and the Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, for their commitment to ensuring that contractors are well-resourced to deliver quality work.
Mr. Job further pledged that contractors will reciprocate the government’s gesture by delivering durable and quality roads for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
