Mpasaaso No. 1 chief commits GHc 100,000 to improve healthcare delivery

The Paramount Chief for Mpasaaso no. 1, Nana Tabiri Gyansah, is constructing a weighing centre at Mpasaaso to help improve healthcare delivery in the area and surrounding town.

The project, according to him, is estimated to cost Gh 100,000 cedis (one billion old cedis).

He explained that one of his major focuses is to provide basic health facilities to pave the way for accessing quality healthcare by his people.

Nana Tabiri Gyansah said he intentionally put up this facility because sometimes the health officials who are supervising the weighing exercise go through frustrations about where to put their item while working under the scorching sun.

The development-orientated chief pointed out that sometimes , the health professionals had to run to hidden places when it rained.

According to him, provision of quality health remains paramount to him and his elders. Hence, it must be given all the attention it deserves.

On education, Nana Tabiri Gyansah said he had been supporting some basic students with educational needs like uniforms, books, and pencils, among others.

He said he is also constructing a market to boost economic activities in the area.

According to Mpasaasomanhene, the construction and completion of the market would go a long way to assist the assembly in revenue generation.
