Today, the 21st September 2026 marks exactly 117 years when the founder of modern-day Ghana Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah was born.
The Osagyefo throughout his life believed in volunteerism and Nationalism, which forms the core of his philosophy and ideology.
The CPP is deeply worried about how the State Owned Enterprises and Factories have been left to rot while others have been continuously sold to politically exposed persons and cronies since his overthrow.
Today, there is an agenda to privatize the Electricity Company of Ghana, which we the CPP is vehemently against.
It is illogical to believe that a company, factory, and state owned enterprises can not be properly managed by the over 30 million Ghanaians, but can be managed effectively by single individuals(s)
We are therefore on this day calling on government to restore, revamp, maintain and properly manage state owned Enterprises and companies to creat employment for the numerous unemployed youth of Ghana as well as generate revenue for government.
