A colourful commendation and commissioning service has been held in honour of Daniel Kofi Asante Ennin, a top broadcast journalist with Kumasi-based Akoma 87.9FM a subsidiary of Media General.

He has been commissioned into the Ordained Ministry of the Methodist Church Ghana.
The spirit-filled service was held on Sunday, 23rd June 2024 at the Garrison Methodist Presbyterian Burna Accra-Ghana.
The award-winning broadcast journalist, who is popularly known in the media space as Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin, was commissioned with 81 new Reverend Ministers to begin their three-year probation.
The Chief Officiating Minister for the event was the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, The Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo. He was assisted by the Administrative Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Bossman.
Kofi Asante has been working in the media industry for over 20 years and has occupied several positions.
Currently, he hosts Akoma FM morning show.
He holds MSC/MAM/B.A (Hons), LLB (Hons). He is married to Patience Asante Ennin (Mrs) with four children.
