It was so bizarre at St.Mary’s Catholic church located at South Suntreso a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on  Sunday 18th September,2022 at 8:20am

When the Mass was about to end the Secretary called a gentleman to launch this year’s Youth Harvest.

Immediately he started,a group pleaded with him and took the microphone from him

According to the group since the beginning of this year there hasn’t been any presentation of financial statement.The last financial presentation was on 3rd and 4th quarters of 2021,so not until the Finance committee presents this year’s 1st and 2nd quarters financial statements they will resist any form of harvest in the Church,the group added

The group again called on the Authorities to have a proper handing over as soon as possible to allow the New Executives led by Dr. Robert Sagoe who have been in office for almost two Months now to do their work.

The group is calling on the Archbishop to transfer Rev. Fr David Kusi,the Parish Priest and remove the Finance Committee Chairman immediately for allegedly publicly campaigning against the current president during the church elections and continue to show bias and sabotaging him and the news executives

Furthermore,the youth claims that the tenure of office for this current Youth Executives has expired for more than a year which they are calling for elections of new Youth Executives to come and take control over this year’s Youth Harvest but the Parish Priest is allegedly not co-operating

When the group finished their presentation about 90 percent of the Parishioners applauded them Unfortunately,the launching of the harvest didn’t come .

Meanwhile,Rev Fr.David Kusi was yet to return this portal’s call to get his side of the allegation.Stayed tune for further development of story.
