Amansie Central former DCE supports 50 form One SHS students with prospectus items

 

 

The former District Chief Executive(DCE) for Amansie Central in the Ashanti region.Hon.Nana Kwame Asamoah Boateng,has surprised parents and their wards with donation of approved prospectus items for Form One Senior High School(SHS) in the area.

The items donated include ;50 Metal trunks, 50 Wooden chop boxes, ,50 packs of pillows, 50 pieces of  students mattresses as well as 50 packs each of verna water and soft drinks all estimated at Thirty-Eight thousand Ghana cedis(Ghc 38,000).

The beneficiaries of the items were drawn from the home town of Hon Asabee (Afoako, community) and surrounding communities including Patase, Homasi and Asikasu all within Amansie Central in Ashanti Region.

Speaking to the media shortly after the presentation ,Hon.Nana Kwame Asamoah Boateng said the donation forms part of his immediate family’s small contributions to brilliant but needy students to enjoy Free Senior high School policy introduced by Nana Akufo-Addo led administration.

The donation was also to encourage and support parents to meet their awards approved prospectus items.

He encourages people in the area especially those who are well-to do to also contribute their quota to brilliant but needy students in their communities since government  alone can’t shoulder the responsibilities providing quality Education to all school going age

This,he said could go a long way to enable Amansie Central produce graduates for nation building.

Hon Asabee as he is affectionately called in the political space said it was high time all Ghanaians especially couples cultivate the habit of extending a helping hands to those in need in their respective communities instead of caring for only their nuclear or immediate family alone.

“I wish to appeal to all families to endeavor to share a little they have with their community members towards building a better society”.

The former Amansie Cental DCE used the opportunity to advice form One students as well as continues students to take their studies seriously devoid of all acts that have tendency to thwart their education.

A number of beneficiaries’ students and their parents heaped praises on Hon.Nana Kwame Asamoah Boateng for his timely support and assured him that they would study hard to justify investment made in them to help uplift Amansie Central district and Ghana as a whole.Source: tntnewspapergh.com
