The administrator of Ghana Education Trust Fund (Get Fund),Dr.Richard Ampofo Boadu,has been commended by the Ashanti regional organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP),Francis Adomako for good work done so far.

According to Ashanti regional organizer of NPP who is popularly known in political space as Francois,since 2017 to date,Two thousand Two hundred Fifty-One (2,251) projects have been initiated by GetFund across all the 16 regions of Ghana.

Francois as he is affectionately called explained that out of the total projects, 1, 131 are in Basic education , 1052 in Secondary education,9 model school projects,5 TVET centers projects well as 54 Tertiary education sector projects respectively.

It would be recalled that Graphic online published recently that GetFund had settled outstanding debts owed contractors as of November, 2022,amounting to Ghc 667.79 million That in all,867 claims from contractors who had presented valid certificates of work were settled.

The projects executed by the contractors include the construction of classrooms, dormitories, laboratories, administration blocks, dining halls and hostel blocks. Others are assembly halls, underground werater tanks, staff flats and lavatories of various sizes.
It is against the backdrop, Francois,a teacher by profession in an interview with TNTNEWSPAPERGH.COM heaps praises on Dr.Boadu for good work done and encouraged him to continue the good work.

Francois said apart from Mr.Boadu’s good deeds he open his doors to the grassroots.
