A high-powered delegation from the Ghana Armed Forces, led by the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral, Seth Amoama, has on Tuesday 21 February 21, 2023, paid a courtesy call on the Administrator of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), Dr. Richard Ampofo Boadu, at the Fund’s Secretariat, Accra.

According to the Chief of Defense Staff, the visit was a follow up on the promise the President Akufo-Addo made on 1st February, 2023 at the Burma Camp, on the establishment of War College in the country. The President specifically called on GETFund to lead in the provision of required funding towards the construction of a model War College in Africa.

CDS Amoama said, when the President of the Republic and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces makes such statements, it is routine that the interested primary institution takes up the task by following through with the critical stakeholders such as GETFund in this instant, in order to bring the promise into fruition.
