Go & work towards 2028 victory – Kwabena Frimpong charges NPP New regional executives

 

Mr. Kwabena Frimpong Ofori, Deputy National Director in charge of Protocol at the New Patriotic Party Headquarters, who also Chaired the Bono East Regional Elections Committee has touted last Saturday’s Regional Executive Elections in Techiman as one of the best organized in the history Bono East.

A total of two hundred and fifty eight (258) delegates from eleven (11) Constituencies voted to elect eleven (11) Regional Executives out of twenty-five (25) Candidates.

After the free, fair, and incident-free elections, six (6) of the current regional executives were retained with five (5) new entrants.

Mr. Kwabena Frimpong Ofori

Ibrahim Bukari Baba was retained as Chairman, David Boakye as Secretary, Mahama Seidu Liman as Assistant Secretary, Sophia Afriyie Danso as Women Organizer, Alhaji Jibrill Abubakar as Nasara Organizer with Musah Sulemana going unopposed as Organizer.

On the other hand; Alexander Gyan replaced Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Jaga as 1st Vice Chairman, Amofa Atta Kofi replaced Baba Abdallah Ahmed as 2nd Vice Chairman, Mohammed Bello replaced Charles Addo Caddy as Youth Organizer, Charity Saah Adjei replaced Boahemaa Martha and Owusu Agyei Ebenezer emerged as the newly elected Communications Officer.

 

 

Speaking in an interview with Peace News after the event, Mr. Kwabena Frimpong, the chairman of the Bono East Regional Elections Committee, urged the elected executives to work together with their contenders in order to reclaim their lost Parliamentary seats and also make Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the next president of Ghana, is coming 2028.

Meanwhile, the retained Bono East Regional NPP Chairman Mr. Ibrahim Bukari Baba affectionately called ‘IB The Game Changer’ while expressing appreciation to the delegates for the confidence reposed in him to lead the party for the second time pledged to work harder for the betterment of the party in the region.

Finally, David Boakye, the Bono East Regional NPP Secretary, said his resounding re-election is a testimony that hard work and humility pays therefore, his resolve to even do more for the NPP’s victory in 2028.
