Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Minister nominee for the Ashanti Region, has committed to prioritizing the region’s development during the first three years of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

In a bid to foster progress and gain support in a region largely controlled by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the need for a strategic development focus.

Speaking during his vetting before Parliament, Dr. Amoakohene underscored the importance of working closely with regional MPs and key stakeholders to establish a clear development framework.

This will ensure the region’s growth while minimizing agitation.

He promised to tackle critical unfinished projects, especially in healthcare and road infrastructure, aiming to enhance the lives of Ashanti residents and accelerate the region’s transformation.By: Frank Aboagye Jackson
